Chemical burnout rubber up front with a nice middle of nutty pine, and a floral sweet back end that's gassy as all hell. A little quiet on the initial nose though. Broken down, I get a more oniony, garlicky funk with the burnt rubber sitting underneath it, still sweet and more prominent than when I first opened the bag.
Soft sweet pine on the inhale with a nutty, earthy exhale. The first third is smooth pulls with no harshness, citrus and pine pushing forward while the onion from the nose moves to the exhale. Halfway it loses a bit of flavor, and by a bit I mean a good amount; the pine is still there but very diminished, left mainly to the exhale. It gets a bit expansive lung-wise around here. At the end it fully drops out, leaving a tart, ashy taste on the final pulls. Burns grey
Head high, and I started feeling it around halfway through the joint, about 10 minutes in. Strong upper body effects make it hard to focus on tasks and easy to get lost in my thoughts. Motor functions are demolished hard, so it's def not a "functional" strain at first. It's a good pick for sleeping, or for giving to someone you want to shut up for a good bit. Good for munchies too. I don't talk much about which strains make me hungry because most don't, but this one had me walk to the kitchen, forget I wanted food, then think "damn, I really want something to eat," all within about 9 minutes of clocking the high. Time moves a lot slower; what felt like 20 minutes of standing around thinking could've been 5 to 9. If you can push through the want to sleep, the pine kicks in with a burst of energy and function around 14 minutes. That made me more sociable, with the pressure dropping to a tingle around the body and resting in my back and shoulders. At 20 minutes it turns into that functional high I know and love from pine terps. It starts dying off at the 40 minute mark after a steady functional effect, then fully dies out at 1h17m.
The nose and the high carry this one. The rubber, pine and gas is loud and weird in a way I kept going back to, and the high has a real arc: heavy and slow early, hungry within minutes, then a pine-driven second wind that turns it functional and social before it fades out past the hour. Taste is where it fell off. It's smooth and pine forward for the first third, thins out by the halfway point, and finishes on a tart, ashy note.
