Head Bands

Unbroken, it's a soft earthy sweet citrus funk, but soft is doing a lot of work there; I really had to shove my nose in to get anything off it. Breaking it up gives a soft funk, airy and bright with a sweet citrus pop. Fully ground, it gets a lot brighter and warmer, but it doesn't reek as much as I wish it would; leaning more toward its funky sweet side while keeping its loud dankness locked away, overshadowed by that sharp citrus. For my Hispanics, if you've ever had the brand Zepol, or for my normal peeps its American version Vaporub, it's got that sharp menthol pine sitting in the backend that opens your sinuses.

First pull is a full 180 from its bright sweet front, the inhale goes deep herbal, pine, chem gas, though it leans more herbal than dank. Honestly kind of flat right out the intro; tart with a sharp inhale, and the herbal and citrus clash together in a way that isn't the most cohesive. Around halfway, that tartness pulls off the inhale and settles in as a palate stain instead. Two thirds in, it gets a lot more gassy and citrus forward, complimented perfectly by a light herbal tinge; lung expansion picks up here and the flavor starts making me salivate, genuinely wanting more with every pull. A hotter hay bite shows up near the end, that good mix I wanted to hold onto leaves fast, then randomly reappears right before it's done. Last pulls were good, but I wish the whole joint had been like that. Burned clean white.

A really nice sedative head and upper body high that relaxes the muscles (for me, lower back, neck, arms) and calms everything down; easy to get lost in media with this one. Fully hits around 18 minutes in with light pressure in the back of the head, around the eyebrows and jawline. Gets heavier on the jaw and ears as 23 minutes passes, and time genuinely starts feeling slower. If you've got a project to zone out into and can handle a sedating pressure well, a light joint or bowl could be perfect; just don't overdo it, too much will cake you. Releases and drops down to the core around 33 minutes, still with light pressure behind the eye sockets. Fully dies down around the 53 minute mark.
