Off the jar it's a really almost honey banana-esque nose with an evergreen note, a lot brighter and more pungent in its fruit note, still very sweet and sharp. My first notes when I opened it were a bright sweet front with a mango or papaya nose and a nice musky open when broken up, and it does smell like a mango or a papaya. Breaking it down I get that muskiness again, bright with some really nice layers, like a mango smoothie, a full mango ground up with the peel into a blender with some cream and ice, or maybe a Rita's cup. Ground up it's a mango banana, the creaminess of banana with the muskiness of a mango and a hint of strawberry, really sweet. It hasn't dropped on the nose at all, and if anything it popped a little better. You can smell it about an inch and a half to two inches away from the grinder, a very soft sweet muskiness that gets more prominent very quickly when you get closer. Fully ground it's a very warm, inviting smell that reminds me of Christmas holidays, so bright and fruity, and for the category it's perfect.
The first hit has a little bit of that mango, but it's a little bit charred, and it tastes a little more earthy than fruit. It's honestly a really musky mango peel with a little of that banana-esque creaminess in the middle, at least that's the best note I can relate it to. It's really consistent with that same musky peel palate, coat and stain, though it's really soft and doesn't stain or coat much, a very soft, even pull. It's really nice and super consistent, with nothing negatively impacting it. The flavor isn't as prominent, but you get a really nice inhale of that mango peel and it exhales into a creamy. At around the last quarter it drops a good amount of flavor, with a little earthy, bitterish bite, though it still has that fruitiness in the middle. It pretty much lost its flavor at that point, and in the last pulls it's just hot and herbal, with that peel making it a little hard to continue since it's such a strong note even though it's so soft. The ash burned light grey after a double to triple grind in the Brilliant Cut.
The high hit at about 8 minutes, a really heavy head high that's very tiring and very sleepy, strong on the chest and lower body, and my motor function gets lowered. I got really hungry with the munchies around the 16 minute mark. It stays pretty consistent as a heavy, full body, bed locking high, and it starts to relieve pressure around the 47 minute mark before fully fading out at 1 hour and 12 minutes.
F1 had the nose of the whole bunch, a bright, sweet mango and papaya with a musky open that turned into a mango banana smoothie with a hint of strawberry and a warm, almost Christmas holiday finish. The smoke could not keep up, with a charred first hit, a very soft mango peel flavor that barely coated or stained, and a last quarter that went earthy, bitterish and hot. The high is the strongest part of it, a heavy, sleepy, bed locking body high that landed at 1 hour and 12 minutes. If the smoke tasted as clean as the jar smelled, this would be a knockout.
