Raw it's a sweet lemon lime with a nice floral to it, about a half inch away from the jar, consistent and not too loud. Breaking it down it gets a bit creamier, with a nutty, burnt rubber note that I've been smelling through most of these entries, but it's still really sweet and mainly a sweet forward floral nose. It doesn't get much louder as I break it down with my hands, maybe a little more prominent, with a really nice dank citrus lime creamy note that mixes well together and reminds me of Frog Poison, a layer of limey dankness. On the full grind it got airier, and the rubber note dropped all the way to the back end. It's not as loud or as sweet as it was on the breakdown, more floral than anything, really airy and soft, with that same sweet limey citrusy creamy nutty funk still in there. It's fine and nice, the most consistent candy nose of the bunch, though nothing in it screams competition winner.
The first couple pulls are a little tangy with a bit of bitterness, never overbearing, and it's kind of flat and muted early on while it burns nice and forms a good oil ring. It tastes fine and translates fine from the nose, a sweet candy flavor with nothing that elevates it above a normal candy experience. Around the halfway point it picks up a little sweetness and gets funkier, with a nice creaminess that's very smooth and the rankness coming through. There's a tiniest little hay-ish bite in the middle off that first pull. Getting to the end it burned hot but didn't add any bad flavors. The ash is a white, slightly grayish line, mainly white, and really solid, so I could pick it up and drag it a little.
I clocked the onset at about 10 minutes. It starts as a downward energy with a pressure that isn't too heavy or nauseating, pretty relaxing and sociable to the point that I want to keep talking, with slight pressure on the eyes, neck and shoulders, mainly in the upper body. Around the 19 minute mark the pressure gets a lot heavier on the neck and eyes, pulling me downward toward almost sleep, very sleepy, slowly building and very sedating. At 36 minutes the pressure slowly dies down a little even though it's still trying to fight you to lay down, and it won, so I decided to rest. The pressure built onto the lower body and enveloped into a full body while relieving the head pressure, so the head and neck dropped it. Some stayed on the eyes, and it moved mainly to the core, lower body and a slight bit of the chest. I landed around 1 hour and 4 minutes, smooth, and I didn't really realize it was ending. I got up and it was all gone.
It tastes like a normal candy, and nothing in it elevates the experience. The high is a sociable, relaxing start that turns heavy and sedating, then lands smooth at about an hour and four minutes. I put it in the middle between my Okay and Really Good groups because it was the most consistent of everything in the candy bunch, from smell to taste to high.
