Nose 9.2/10

opening the jar and putting my nose 4 inches away you can already smell a soft wafting of cream fruit, shoving your nose in more you can smell the blueberry note prominent in the middle surrounded by a funky pine. breaking it open (even before grinding) that funk pops out a ton more like a sweet yogurt mixed with berries and cereal. its such a sweet rank that I dive into, but that blueberry note stays strong and fore front. it has a pastry note on the bottom layer of it that's so exact to the toasted cereal dust at the bottom of the bag.

Taste 8.3/10

first pull on inhale I get a earthy pine, with a gassy middle and a slight tart palate stain. not what I was expecting at all for first hits, that lasts until 1/3: its heavy pine diesel coat with a light herbal stain is insanely salivating and I honestly really enjoyed it. Halfway I get a brighter sweet cereal mixed with a back end of piney disel, a well rounded mix that coats the palate in a strong herbal cream with the berry laying in the middle of the inhale; wrapped around its pine & gas. it stays like that for a bit until near the end where it loses its flavor and pulls airy & hot. greyish white ash, even burn with a nice oil ring

High 9.2/10

clocked around 10 min in from joint, a soft head high with light pressure on the back, shoulders, face muscles and rings around the eyes. It's a really nice focus strain with me being able to crush work and do normal tasks while not being dysfunctional. builds up slowly around the 17 min mark: making me feel faster then I know I really am, typing *a bit* too quick and having made errors here and there. the pressure around the eyes builds up and kinda feels like your wearing goggles in a way. Using this as an every day smoke (in my case) would be totally valid, with this building as a more relaxing social smoke than anything nighttime. A good brunch or after a meeting coffee smoke. 32 min in the pressure builds heavier into the head, kinda feels like balloon pressure going up and up slowly expanding my Brain, still very functional and great for stamina. around the 45 mark pressure slowly starts to relive itself, while still staying concentrated to a high pressure on the back and behind the eyes (as it felt in the beginning) At this point I had a sudden burst of energy, like I could get anything done. Most of the high runs on a pretty light basis, its just super easy and beginner friendly (imo) and nice to just smoke whenever, it does lean a bit towards the sleepy side (which my mind races at a million miles per hour normally, so a small sedating effect relaxes that sensation) you can absolutely use this as a focus energy heavy strain. but again, all effects are different for everyone. fully clocked out at 1h21m

DSFF doesn’t disappoint me, and this is another where I’d gladly grab it again if run. I’m unsure if the notes I got are exactly what they intended it to be; but nonetheless I smoked it all the way through. And it makes me sad that I only grabbed one jar (since that's all that was left). Going back from rec to this was a breath of fresh air. I knew that I was going to get a good experience, but it's always nice to be validated in that choice. I’m excited to see what else DSFF runs, ESPECIALLY when they finally get their first grows going for the NJ rec market.
